Deciding what to wear to your maternity session isn’t always easy.  I always look for outfits that show off your belly, but are loose and flowy around the rest of your body.  I love dresses for maternity photo sessions.  They are typically flattering and add beautiful textures and movement to photos.  You want to pick something that you will be comfortable in and dresses are a great option for this.

Don’t Forget Your Partner

Your partner is an important part of the photo session as well.  Coordinate your outfits; don’t match them.  Something light colored, neutral and simple will work great.  Khakis and a button down or henley shirt will usually be an outfit winner.

There are so many options when it comes to buying maternity photo outfits.  You may have a favorite store or already have something in your closet.
