Lifestyle Newborn Photo Session

I'm a Natick newborn photographer serving families in Natick, Wellesley, Wayland, Needham, Framingham, Sherborn and surrounding Metro West Boston towns. I specialize in natural, relaxed lifestyle newborn sessions both at h ome and outdoors, capturing real moments.

When you book a newborn photo session with me , I start by getting to know you. You'll receive a short questionnaire that helps me understand your family, your home, and what matters most to you. This allows me to create photos that feel personal and true to your life. 

I specialize in natural, lifestyle newborn photography. If you're draw to real moments of your family interacting with yoru baby, you are in the right place.  I do not use props or newborn posing. I focus on connection, comfort, and the beauty of every day moment.  Ill absolutely photograph your baby on their own, but in a relaxed, natural way, like resting on a bed or wrapped in a simple blanket. 

I use the term newborn session loosely on purpose. Some families want photos within the first two weeks at home, while others prefer to wait until their baby is a little older.  There is no right or wrote timing. If life felt too full to schedule photos right away, you have not missed your chance. Documenting your family is meaningful at every stage, and each season brings its own kids of beauty.

Like with many other businesses, the pandemic created a push for me to pivot. Prior to the pandemic, my newborn sessions were all in home sessions. I started offering outdoor newborn photo sessions in Metro West Boston . I have said many times that outdoor newborn sessions are my silver lining of the pandemic. They are now one of my favorite types of sessions. There is something so beautiful about a family snuggling a new baby surrounded by tall grass or wild flowers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Some families want to photograph their new baby within two weeks of being home and others want to wait a few months. There is no right answer for when to schedule a photo session. Documenting a family is beautiful and special at any stage.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?

 love flowy dresses for mom! They are flattering for almost all body types, add great movement and texture to photos. When you book with me I will send you tips on dressing the whole family and will help you choose outfits! I even have a client closet that you can borrow from! 

WHAT DO I WEAR?

indoor newborn photo session take place in the comfort of your home.  You DO NOT need to clean your whole house. When you book your session, I will ask you to start paying attention to which rooms in your house get the most light. We will try to photograph in one or two of those rooms. Depending on light, I like to photograph in the babies room and a room with a bed, which are great snuggling locations :). All you really need to do to prepare is put the shades up; we will move things out of the way to make it look like your house is spotless :). Don’t be surprised if I ask if we can move some things around to get the best light. I promise we will move them back.

I have many favorite spots for outdoor newborn photo sessions.  Once you book I will send you a list to choose from or if you have somewhere in mind let me know and I will check it out. 

what location should i choose?

Book your session as soon as possible after you hit the second trimester. My outdoor session schedule fills up months in advance, especially in the fall so I want to make sure I get your session on the Calendar!  I have more flexibility with in home sessions on weekday morning.
