Choosing Your Location
I will work with you to choose a location for your Maternity photo session. I have my favorite spots for different seasons. If you don’t want to brave the heat of summer or cold of winter, an in-home maternity session may be perfect for you!
In-home Sessions
In-home maternity sessions are perfect for winter and summer. No need to brave the extreme weather; you can be comfy at home for your session. Show off that nursery you have been working so hard on or curl up on the couch for some snuggles.
Outdoor Sessions
Outdoor maternity photo sessions are great for those of you who like being outdoors. I have many favorite spots depending on the season. Spring offers blooming trees. In summer, you will find tall grass and wild flowers. Fall will showcase the New England foliage. I will even brave the cold and snow with you! If you don’t mind the cold, a winter outdoor maternity session is both beautiful and unique.
Choosing Your Outfits
I love helping families choose outfits for Maternity photo sessions. I have a client closet of dresses that I would love for you to borrow from. I will also send you a guide with tips for what to wear as well as links for suggestions.
Winter Maternity Sessions
If you want an outdoor winter maternity session, I will put on my boots and get out in the snow with you! Snow covered fields are absolutely beautiful! I pick my locations for outdoor winter maternity sessions carefully so that we are close to the car in case you need to take a break to warm up. I suggest wearing layers for outdoor winter maternity sessions. We will take a few photos and then put your jacket on to warm up for a minute. If you would prefer to not be cold for photos, this is the perfect opportunity for an in-home session. These sessions are cozy and snuggly and you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home.

I absolutely love a spring blossom maternity session. After long cold winters, spring blossoms make me so happy. Blooming trees and a beautiful mama-to-be makes my photographer’s heart swoon.

Summer Maternity Sessions
Summer maternity sessions give us the option for early morning sessions or late evening sessions. If you want to beat the heat, I suggest a morning session. Outdoor summer sessions will showcase lush long grass and wildflowers. There is something so beautiful about an expectant mother in a flowy dress standing in a summer field. If the humidity and heat is not something you want to deal with, then an in-home session could be a great fit for you!
