What should a newborn wear for photos?

I often get asked what is best to have babies wear during newborn photo sessions. My answer is always that simple and neutral is better.  White Onsies work great! I love adding in some visual interest with a textured fabric.  I recently started creating a newborn client closet.  In addition to giving suggestions and helping families choose their outfits, I will also now bring with me a basket of neutral swaddle wraps and outfits for newborns.  I can’t wait to start offering this client closet to my newborn clients!
