This sweet family melted my heart from the moment I walked through their door for this newborn photo session. Mom and Dad were completely smitten with their baby girl—every glance, every touch was filled with so much love. It’s one of the things I adore most about newborn sessions: the way time seems to slow down as parents soak in these first precious weeks.

Adding to the love in the room was their gentle pup, who was just as smitten as Mom and Dad. She happily soaked up her share of attention (and pets!) but never let her guard down, keeping a watchful and loving eye on her newest family member. Watching the bond between pets and babies always feels so tender and special to capture—it’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

These early days can be a blur of feedings, naps, and tiny baby snuggles, but they’re also filled with wonder. I’m always so honored when families invite me in to preserve these fleeting moments. It’s not just about photographs—it’s about telling the story of love, connection, and the start of a brand-new chapter.
