I love capturing genuine, joyful, and connected moments. There’s nothing quite as genuine as a newborn’s first days at home, surrounded by the love and warmth of their family. During this in-home newborn photography session in Wayland Massachusetts I had the privilege of documenting one such beautiful story.
One of the most endearing aspects of this in-home newborn photography session was the involvement of the big sister. She was a bundle of joy, overflowing with excitement about her new sibling. It’s moments like these that make my heart swell with happiness as a photographer. The big sister kept giving me ideas throughout the session, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to incorporate her creative input into the shoot.
From suggesting different props to arranging her toys around the baby, her enthusiasm was infectious. It’s these genuine interactions that truly make a lifestyle photoshoot come alive. I believe in letting kids be themselves during sessions, as their authenticity shines through, resulting in photographs that are not just beautiful but also incredibly heartwarming.
