Bloom and Grow Creative has always had a sweet reputation as a great spot for kids, but after spending more time there, I’ve realized it’s just as special for adults. It’s one of those places that makes you feel creative the minute you walk in, no matter how old you are.
I actually had my 40th birthday party there, and it couldn’t have been a better fit. A group of good friends, an art project that let us relax and laugh together, and a space that felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect way to celebrate that milestone without any pressure to make things fancy or complicated. Just fun, connection, and a little messy.
I’ve also taken their adult art classes, including ones taught by Michelle Parven, who happens to be the art teacher at Brown Elementary. Michelle has this calm and encouraging way of teaching that makes even a simple weeknight feel like something to look forward to. Leaving the house on a busy night isn’t always easy, but I never regret it once I’m there. There’s something so grounding about slowing down and making something with your hands.
Bloom and Grow is more than a studio. It’s a place to unwind, to reconnect with yourself, and to remember that creativity isn’t just for kids. It’s for anyone who needs a little space to breathe and make something beautiful.
