The first weekend of busy season and Mother Nature was already testing me. When Saturday’s forecast suddenly shifted to afternoon thunderstorms, I found myself scrambling to reschedule sessions. Thankfully, my wonderful clients were so flexible, and we decided to move our session to the morning instead.

It turned out to be the best gift. The field was quiet, the light was absolutely gorgeous, and their sweet rescue pup got to tag along for the fun. We played, laughed, and soaked in that early fall feeling together.

Sometimes the last-minute changes that feel stressful in the moment end up creating the most beautiful sessions. I’m so grateful for families who roll with it and trust the process—it always makes the magic shine through.
