Newborn Photo Session Highlights with the Sweetest Family (and Pup!)

One of the most beautiful parts of this work—besides squishy newborns and sweet family snuggles—is the incredible people I get to work with. I recently had the pleasure of photographing this amazing family, and I walked away feeling so grateful for their warmth and understanding.

On the day of our session, I had to make a last-minute adjustment to our start time to take my daughter to the doctor. As a mom, there are moments when family has to come first. This sweet crew couldn’t have been more kind or flexible. Their compassion meant so much, and I’ll never forget it.

Their newborn session was full of tenderness, patience, and love. It was everything I hope for in these early days of capturing life with a new baby. We let baby lead the way, pausing often for snuggles, feeding breaks, and calm moments. That’s the beauty of lifestyle newborn photography: no rush, no pressure, just following the baby’s rhythm and documenting the magic as it unfolds.

A special highlight? Their first baby—their sweet pup—absolutely stole the show. 🐾 We made sure she was front and center in plenty of photos, and she posed like a total pro. It was such a joy to include her in this new chapter for the family.

Sessions like this are a reminder of why I love what I do. It’s not just about pretty pictures—it’s about connection, trust, and capturing the honest beauty of family life.
