One of the most meaningful parts of being a family photographer is getting to witness the growth of the families I photograph—not just in size, but in love, connection, and joy.

I first met this sweet family during their oldest son’s outdoor newborn session. I remember the quiet excitement of those early days of parenthood, their gentle love for him, and the way they beamed as they held their new baby in the golden light. Fast forward a few years, and I had the absolute joy of photographing them again—this time as a family of four. ✨

Their oldest has grown into such a fun, curious, and energetic little guy, and it was so fun catching up with all of them. The session was filled with laughter, snuggles, and that kind of playful chaos that makes family life so real and beautiful.

As I was editing their gallery, I couldn’t stop smiling. I swear I could still hear the giggles echoing from our time together. These kinds of sessions—ones that feel like a mix of catching up with old friends and documenting love as it unfolds—are what I treasure most.
