We did such a fun MetroWest Boston spring activity with my kids that I thought I would share about our morning, in case any other parents are looking for things to do in the MetroWest Boston area with their kids over April vacation week (or any other spring week :)).
We started our day picking tulips at Ferjulian’s Farm. We did this last year as well and my girls loved it so much that I think it will now be a Spring tradition. The farm is beautiful and you get to bring some of that beauty home to fill your house with tulips (and many other flowers in the green house). We watched them making fresh doughnuts right at the check out station. We decided to skip doughnuts this time because we had already planned to get ice cream at our next stop 🙂
Our next stop was new to us! Thank you Travel and Write Today for recommending this next fun spot. A quick 15 minute drive from Ferjulian’s Farm is Trombetta’s Farm. At Trombetta’s, in addition to flowers, you will find an indoor mini golf inside a greenhouse and homemade ice cream! Mini golf inside a greenhouse was such a fun and unique experience! There were so many flavors of ice cream that my daughters had trouble deciding which ones to have. They landed on cake batter and peppermint stick, both of which were delicious.
