I always love when families take maternity photos and then newborn photos.  It is so special to see the parents’ anticipation and excitement for meeting their new baby and then to get to actually meet that baby.

We did the maternity session in their backyard, so we decided to use another location for their newborn session.  I recently discovered Heard Farm, Wayland conservation area and am loving it for sessions.  It’s a quick 3 minute walk from the parking lot to a beautiful field.  Adventurous families can choose to do more walking and explore 2 orchards around the conservation land.  For this session, we used the field and the closest orchard.
