Family Photo Session
Here are some of the things that make me a good fit for families:
- Find Beauty in imperfection: I try to start off most sessions getting a photo of everyone together looking at the camera, but most of them won’t. My favorite photos are the ones that are imperfect and capture your family’s connection. My goal is for you to look back on your photos and feel nostalgic. I will help guide your family through your session, my goal is to capture real moments.
- Playful: I will prompt and guide you through interactions. This can be anything from bumping hips while you walk to playing simon says. I not only want to get you beautiful, connected family photos, but I also want it to be a fun experience.
- Affectionate: In addition to my sessions being playful, I will also prompt some more quiet, snuggly moments. I want my photos to show connections and this means a lot of cuddling, holding hands, rubbing noses, etc.
- Not afraid of getting a little dirty: As I said above, I will prompt you through interacting with your family. This means a lot of playing with your kids and them with each other. Sometimes this means getting a little dirty :).

Sara captured the most beautiful images of my family! After booking the appointment I was anxiously awaiting the day for our family portraits. Sara found the perfect location and even helped me coordinate the color of our outfits. She gave me such one on one attention leading up to the day, and it made me feel very special. On the day of the session I was worried about my newborn son's lack of sleep and Sara was confident we could bring out all of his smiles. Boy was she right! Sara always knew which location would capture the best image and how to make my son smile. She even brought her lovely daughter, my student, to help. I do family sessions all year round. You can schedule for whatever season you would like!
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
I love flowy dresses for mom! They are flattering for almost all body types, add great movement and texture to photos. When you book with me I will send you tips on dressing the whole family and will help you choose outfits! I even have a client closet that you can borrow from!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
I spend a lot of time location scouting and have found some favorite spots. I also always love finding new locations so if you have somewhere in mind let me know!
After you book I will send you a list of my favorite locations for you to choose from
what location should i choose?
Book your session as soon as you can. My schedule fills up months in advance, especially in the fall so I want to make sure I get your session on the Calendar!

My travel radius is a 30 minute drive from Natick Massachusetts

A signed contract and 50% initial payment is required to book your session
